FOR CLARIFICATION: In order for a spouse to be eligible for monthly income survivor benefits from the D&S Plan, all of the following conditions must be met:

  1. The pilot must have died or retired before January 1,2008.

  2. With minor exceptions, the spouse must have been married to the pilot  for at least 12 months prior to his retirement or disability event date and be married to the pilot continuously thereafter until the date of the pilot's death.

  • RETIRED PILOTS AND SPOUSES OF RETIRED PILOTS

RETIRED PILOTS AND THEIR SPOUSES ARE CONSIDERED JOINTLY AS ONE MEMBERSHIP.
